Guardians of the Galaxy Style Guide

Some Marvel franchise have “evergreen” style guides that are not dependent on movies and television. In 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy was green-lit to get the evergreen treatment before the release of the movie. I was tasked with spearheading the launch of the style guide. Managing the project entailed working with other designers and freelancers to oversee the development of branding, packaging designs, character artwork, design elements, mock products with elements of the guide applied to them and designing PDFs to showcase the guide and show how it’s best used.
